It will be an all day event where local skeptics will give short 15 minute talks about cool skepticism related topics. Anyone can give a talk, just follow the instructions below to learn how.

There is no cost to attend. Carleton University also provides free parking on Saturdays. Food will not be provided, so either pack a lunch or be prepared to buy food on campus.

If you are planning on attending, please sign up using the quick form. Takes less than 30 seconds and helps us make sure we will be able to accommodate everyone. The information will not be shared.

edit How do I give a talk?

Send an email to event organizers at this email address with your name and information about what you plan to give a talk about.

Please don't choose a topic that's too similar to a topic already chosen.

You talk should optimally be 10 minutes, no more than 15. Be prepared to answer questions.

Note: A projector, speakers, and a computer with Powerpoint will be provided. Bring your presentation on a USB stick.

Note: This schedule will shift around until the day of the event. This schedule may also fall apart on the day of due to delays and questions. We'll do our best to stick to it. Everyone will get to speak though, so don't worry about that.
